CONTEXT

Be the technical leader driving the transition to IP! As a Voice Deployment/Migration Engineer, you’ll help our clients move beyond the traditional PABX era. Your role is strategic: managing the decommissioning of legacy infrastructure and overseeing the technical transition to new IP infrastructure. At our company, you ensure uninterrupted communication during the most critical phases of the transition.

Your main achievements will include:

  • Technical Audit & Inventory: Conduct a comprehensive audit of client sites, identify existing PABX systems, and analyze voice traffic.
  • Migration Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute the technical migration to new IP infrastructures (IP-PBX, ToIP).
  • Decommissioning: Manage the safe shutdown and removal of legacy equipment while ensuring that critical services remain uninterrupted.
  • Configuration & Deployment: Configure gateways, SBCs, and new endpoints on the target infrastructures.
  • Project Expertise: Manage the various service providers and oversee the technical aspects of the deployment through the VSR (Regular Service Verification).
Your Profile
You are our ideal candidate if you have

Technical Skills

  • Infrastructure: You are proficient in traditional PABX environments (Alcatel-Lucent, Avaya, Mitel) and ToIP architectures.
  • Protocols & Networks: You have technical expertise in SIP protocols and network equipment (SBCs, gateways).

Personality

  • Meticulous: You pay close attention to detail and leave nothing to chance during a night shift or when managing multiple sites.
  • Resilient: You remain calm and maintain your ability to analyze situations during critical migration phases.
  • Organized: You know how to balance project management with hands-on technical work.
Experience
  • Education & Experience: You have a five-year degree (in Telecommunications or Network Engineering).
  • Experience: You have solid experience in technical project management focused on voice and telecommunications.
